Joseph Bonventre, MD ‘76, PhD, has received the 2007 Bywaters Award from the International Society of Nephrology for outstanding contribution to the understanding of acute renal failure. The award will be presented at the society’s satellite meeting in Salvador Bahia, Brazil, in April 2007. The society bestows one award every two years for lifetime achievement in the field of acute renal failure.
